Git and my github

I've long been interested in git, which is described as - 'Git is a popular version control system designed to handle very large projects with speed and efficiency; it is used for many high profile open source projects, most notably the Linux kernel'. It scales very nicely for home use as well, and with github you can easily host your git setup online.

I have my git setup at https://github.com/boudiccas/dots where I intend to host all my up-to-date scripts, so if you don't want to cut n'paste from here, you can download them from the github repo.
